Awareness creation and continued capacity building for incorporation of gender concerns into Rural Electrification Services in Bangladesh, 2010
The fund seeding project supported by ENERGIA in partnership with Prokaushali Sangsad Ltd was designed to introduce “gender and energy” issues and building awareness among the officials, staff and management of three Palli Bidyut Samities- PBSs (Rural Electrification cooperatives) in different locations of Bangladesh.

The National Training Program on Mainstreaming Gender Concerns into Energy Projects in Bangladesh organized by the Gender and Energy Network, Bangladesh (GEN-B) was held on 29-30 December 2009 in Dhaka. The workshop had 24 participants from 7 different orgainzations.
Strengthening GEN-B through Capacity Building and Advocacy – Bangaladesh 2008
The fund seeding project supported by ENERGIA in partnership with Prokaushali Sangsad Ltd was designed to build the capacity of the Gender and Energy Network Bangladesh (GEN-B). The members of GEN-B being predominantly urban career women have limited knowledge and experience on the energy needs of rural women.
