Strengthening Gender, Energy and Water Network (GEWNet) Nepal 2010
Seed-funding projects are instruments aimed at strengthening energy and gender networking at the national level. This project was carried out in partnership with the Centre for Rural Technology Nepal (CRT/N) between October 2009 and December 2010 aimed at strengthening the gender and energy network in Nepal through GEWNet Nepal.
Advocacy for Gender Sensitive Energy Policy in Nepal 2010
The Gender, Energy and Water Network (GEWNet) managed by the Centre for Rural Technology, Nepal (CRT/N) together with Indoor Air Pollution and Health Forum (IAPH Forum) managed by Practical Action Nepal has completed a project entitled "Advocacy for Gender Sensitive Energy Policy in Nepal." The project was supported by ENERGIA.
Gender Mainstreaming Within Biogas Sector Partnership, Nepal 2009
This project was performed as part of the ENERGIA-supported activity of “Gender Mainstreaming in Energy Projects”. The project was performed by Biogas Sector Partnership Nepal (BSP-N) to assess the gender profile within the National Biogas Support Program (BSP) implemented in Nepal since 1992.
Gender Mainstreaming in Malekhu Khola Micro Hydro Project in Dhading District. Nepal 2009.
The "Gender Mainstreaming in Malekhu Khola Micro Hydro Project in Dhading District" is the joint project of REDP, and ENERGIA. The programme was launched in March 2009 with an objective to engender Malekhu Khola MHP through gender mainstreaming to make it responsive to the energy needs of men and women and the community to widen the energy services.
National TRAINING Workshop on Gender and Energy for Energy Managers and Planners Nepal 2008
The National Training Workshop on Mainstreaming Gender Concerns in Energy Projects in Nepal, was held at Dhulikhel Resort, Nepal between 22nd and 24th September, 2008. The training workshop was a continuation of a series of training conducted by the International Network on Gender and SustainableEnergy (ENERGIA) with the aim of mainstreaming gender considerations in energy planning and service delivery.
